Sometimes after taking a certain type of picture for a while, you realize you have the makings of a “project” — a related group of images with a common theme or viewpoint — an idea to pursue further. I think I see a project emerging from the photos I’ve been taking of signs in Lee Vining, Bridgeport, and other towns along US 395 in Mono and Inyo Counties. Here are some signs I found interesting in Lone Pine, near the Alabama Hills, last April.
