Ice on Delaney Creek

Tuolumne Meadows

One of my favorite short day hikes in Tuolumne Meadows is from Soda Springs and Parsons Memorial Lodge (above) down the Pacific Crest Trail to Delaney Creek, then out into the meadows, and back along the river. In late October, there were few visitors in this area, and lots of thin ice in shaded areas along the creek.
