Alabama Hills

There is no shortage of remarkable scenery in the Alabama Hills. Much of this is due to the weathering of coarse granitic rocks into shapes resembling organic, even suggestively human or animal forms. And the contrasting backdrop of the highest peaks in the Sierra Nevada. Here are some of the images I harvested during a few hours of rambling through these hills last April.
