Night Views at Berkeley Echo Lake Camp

View from Echo Lake Camp

Berkeley Echo Lake Camp overlooks the south end of the Tahoe Basin. The view, day or night, is wonderful. Here’s an image showing 25 minutes of star movement the night we were there. (5 x 5 minutes at f/5.6, ISO 200, Fujifilm X-T1)

This is more like what you see with the naked eye. (30 seconds at f/5.6, ISO 5000, Fujifilm X-T1)

A view from camp, before dark. Meyers and Lake Tahoe Airport are in the middle distance; South Lake Tahoe, Stateline, and Lake Tahoe itself are in the distance.
