Retired Mannequins

Where do mannequins go when their stores close? In Sacramento many have ended up at Continental Display, in a room full of mannequins waiting for restoration and a new lease on life. But not for much longer, because they, too, are closing soon, at the end of November.

These were all taken with an iPhone 5, using Hipstamatic. Contrast therapy, distraction excision, and 4-side border replacement were performed using  Lightroom + Photoshop + Color Efex Pro.

  1. Excellent work! You used a lot of different “tricks” it seems, which can lead to less than pleasing results, but in this case it all works wonderfully.
