On a clear day, the waterfront at Scenic Beach State Park offers a splendid view across Hood Canal to the Olympic Peninsula. Back in the campground, large camp sites are shaded by tall Douglas-fir and screened by a dense understory of huckleberry and salal. The park is just west of Seabeck, on Washington’s Kitsap Peninsula. It’s a great place to visit and camp!

Emel House was built in 1911, overlooking Hood Canal from a meadow above the beach. Maintained by the park, it’s home today to the Seabeck Community Center.
