Sunset Falls

Sunset Falls is a secluded, quiet recreation site and campground on the East Fork Lewis River at the edge of Gifford Pinchot National Forest in southwestern Washington. (Not to be confused with the other Sunset Falls, on the South Fork Skykomish River, also in Washington.) It’s a 22 mile drive east from Battle Ground, and 26 miles straight south of Mt. St. Helens.

Site 11, East Loop.  Nice and secluded, down a hillside trail.  The Recreation.gov web site didn’t exactly tell us this was a walk-in site — we would have avoided that for the sore knee in our party, but we managed.
