They Liked my Agave

July is the month for the annual Members’ Exhibit at Viewpoint Photographic Art Center in Sacramento. This year I submitted one of my favorite photographs, a close view of a spiny-leaved Parry’s agave (Agave parryi) at the Berkeley Botanical Garden. It was one of 3 entries chosen for a “Curator’s Award”, one of 9 award-winners in all. The exhibit continues through Saturday, August 2, 2014, with many more great images on display.

I’ll have 3 more prints on a wall at Gallery 1855 in Davis (Davis Cemetery) in August as part of a group exhibit with some of my local photo-friends.
