Rainy Days at Berkeley Tuolumne Camp

A couple of weeks ago, California was at the mouth of an “atmospheric river” event that brought rare late-June rainfall to the northern half of the state. Those were the exact days we were scheduled be at Berkeley Tuolumne Camp, just west of Yosemite. It wasn’t the first time we’ve been rained on at BTC, but the amount of rain and the mild temperatures were really unusual for late June. Still, this is a relaxing and fun place to be, in almost any weather.

We drove into Yosemite and hiked up to May Lake through a steady light rain. Mount Hoffman was hiding in the clouds, nowhere to be seen.
