Sunset at Wrights Lake

These mallard ducklings appeared to be enjoying the sunset as much as I was. Or maybe it was just the abundance of insects on the lake at this hour. This was a couple of nights ago at Wrights Lake, a lovely spot near 7,000 feet on the west side of the Crystal Range, in the Sierra Nevada west of Lake Tahoe.

I like how the ducks change the picture from a beautiful scene to a beautiful moment.

  2. Ciao Tim, great shot, those little fellas make it more so. 🙂

Classic, beautiful image that would also be a stunning print. Makes me want to go to the mountains, which I think we will do asap . . .

Thanks, All, for your comments. This was definitely a case of being in the right place at the right time with the camera ready.
