“Seeing Things” in Bozeman, Montana

Earlier this year a photographer-friend in Bozeman, Larry Blackwood, asked me to participate in an Invitational Exhibit, “Seeing Things”, which he is guest-curating at the Emerson Center for Art and Culture in Bozeman. How could I refuse? He suggested showing some of the aircraft images he had seen when we first met at a LensWork workshop back in ’08.

I feel privileged to be exhibiting along with two other accomplished photographers, Chuck Kimmerle and Alexis Pike. The exhibit will be in the Lobby Gallery at the Emerson Center, from July 6 through August 17, 2012, with an “Art Walk” reception (unfortunately, I can’t be there) from 5:00-8:00 pm on Friday, July 13. The Emerson Center is located at 111 South Grand Avenue, Bozeman, Montana (here it is on Google Maps). Larry, too, will be exhibiting prints from his “Patriot’s Dream” series in another of Emerson’s galleries at the same time.

Coming up in August: a solo exhibit at the Sacramento Poetry Center, and a group show at Gallery 1855 in Davis. More about these later.
