Projects Workshop at LensWork

Early this month I went on pilgrimage to Anacortes, Washington, to attend a photography workshop at LensWork Publishing. It was the “Projects” workshop led by two fine photographers and teachers, Brooks Jensen (publisher of LensWork) and Huntington Witherill (photographer based in Monterey). The leaders and 15 participants spent 4 days looking at examples of completed photographic projects (books, print folios, PDFs, web galleries, etc.) and the projects-in-progress shared by the participants. It was a wonderful, stimulating experience — one I would recommend highly to other photographers working to expand their creative vision and productivity!

We spent most of our time indoors, but the trip to Washington and the early mornings in Anacortes provided some opportunities to practice the craft. Below are a few photos from the trip.
