Last weekend… a glorious day in the Sierra Nevada, hiking south from Carson Pass to Frog Lake, Winnemucca Lake, and Round Top Lake. At an elevation of 9,400 feet, 3 miles from the road, Round Top Lake sits about 1,000 feet below the summit of the highest peak in the area, Round Top.
